100 Canning Jars Later

I did not stay at home this weekend, I went back to Stillwater to be in a Fashion show for Elizabeth's.  Needless to say, I was not in the kitchen at all...

However, this week I will be in the kitchen more than I would please.  We are conducting a two-day canning workshop for both Washington and Osage County (four long days filled with canning! AH!!) Today we were making copies, stuffing folders and working on things like that.  So I wore my normal attire: dress, pearls, and heels.  Little did I know that I was going to be washing 100 Ball canning jars by hand!  I was a true vision, a 50's pin-up girl if you will.

Please take note, I do not have a darling husband or a daughter at this point and time.  You get the idea, this is what I felt like today.  Charming, I know...

Yesterday I was planning on getting my nails done, but I have something else come up and I am very glad that I did.  I would not be a happy camper at the moment if that were the case.
